1. Acceptance of Terms
LASMOFoundation.org (the “Site”) is owned and operated by The LASMO Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization organized under the laws of the State of Rhode Island and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the “Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site.
We may amend or update these Terms at any time, and such modifications shall take effect upon posting. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Federal 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Status
The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Foundation does not provide legal or tax advice

Donors should consult their own tax advisors regarding deductibility and documentation requirements

“Quid pro quo” contributions (donations made in exchange for goods or services) will be acknowledged with a good-faith estimate of the value of any benefits provided
Donors are responsible for maintaining their own tax records and filings.
If requested, copies of the Foundation’s IRS determination letter or financial filings may be made available in accordance with federal and state disclosure regulations.

4. Rhode Island Nonprofit Compliance
The Foundation operates in accordance with applicable federal and Rhode Island state nonprofit and charitable solicitation regulations, including applicable filings with:

Federal compliance and reporting requirements
Nothing on this Site shall be construed as:

A guarantee of deductibility

5. Donations, Payments, and Refund Policy
Donations made through the Site are voluntary charitable contributions intended to further the Foundation’s mission.

Charitable Contribution Handling

6. Intellectual Property and Content Use
All Site content, including branding, visuals, program references, and design elements (the “Content”), is owned by or licensed to the Foundation and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Content may be viewed or downloaded for personal, non-commercial purposes only and may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for promotional or commercial purposes without prior written consent.

7. Submission of Testimonials, Photos, and Communications
Supporters and participants may submit testimonials, photos, stories, or other materials (“User Submissions”).
By submitting content, you grant the Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use such materials for charitable, educational, and promotional purposes consistent with our mission, unless otherwise restricted by law or agreed to in writing.
User Submissions must not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable laws. The Foundation may decline or remove submissions at its discretion.

8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may include links to third-party websites and service providers, including payment processors. These platforms operate independently from the Foundation.
We are not responsible for:
